Security of Shipping Your Motorcycle
For starters, the motorcycle will be enclosed and locked up. Keeping the motorcycle out of sight is a good theft deterrent. In addition, we will make sure you are there at delivery. We won't just drop off your motorcycle without you there and leave you a problem. If for some reason you have a problem getting to the delivery site, we will help you to make proper arrangements.
The motorcycles are also strapped down with our proprietary strapping techniques that make it more secure.
We also track out trucks and know where they are pretty much all the time. This allows us to let you know what is going on and for us to keep track of our drivers.
We do a background check on our drivers to make sure that there is no criminal history. We also try and hire drivers that have experience riding motorcycles. We can't always guarantee that the driver will be a rider, but it is often the case.
Finally, we train our drivers in security techniques. For example, we coach them to keep their truck locked up, to look for and report suspicious activities, and to avoid bad neighborhoods. We keep track of our driver behavior with written security reports.
